About

I am a Baby boomer, connate with a middle-class family. I was groomed in the best possible way with the resources at my parent’s disposal. So there was no repentance for the opportunity I was provided. But the disparity between what I love to do and what I was good at bracketed me as mediocre. It cost me 32 years of occupation and 57 years of life. I rediscovered my GOOD WORK, and the triangulation among my expertise,  passion and the value I feel is contributing to my community gave an impetus for this venture. My inspirational transcendental poet Jaydev and visionary Mr. Steve Jobs have encouraged my faith over fear. To me, the myth and struggle of poet Jaydev and Steve Jobs resonate in the 22nd sloka of chapter 9 of Vagbat Geeta.

Lord Krishna addresses the puzzle by saying, ‘those who always worship me with exclusive devotion and meditation on my transcendental form, to them I carry what they lack and I preserve what they have.’

Can someone visualise walking 7 miles to have decent food? That’s what Steve Jobs narrates in his Stanford speech. He used to walk 7 miles to HARE KRISHNA temple on Sundays to have a portion of lovely food.   The ecstasy of Kirtan(folk music with chanting)and the spiritual ambience of Harekrishna temple must have had a blissful impact on him. The same had happened with Poet Jayadev. It took 18 years of restlessness for poet Jayadev for the miraculous composition.

The spiritual erotism of Gita Gobinda and the transgressed biblical myth of chopped apple (the logo of Apple Computers) got a civilisational contribution.  Bhakti cults in Brahmin dominant society & ease of handling most advanced technology by a commoner got an umbilical cord link of thought and imagination.

I have been in sales for almost three and half decades. My exposure to selling products and services of brands like Luxray, USHA international, Hitkari, Ford(dealership) and Mahindra and Mahindra(dealership) allows me to see the predicament of sales personnel in micro labels. Professionally the threshold for any career was the Intelligent quotient. , which is basically genetic. But Dr. Daniel Goleman defies that by quoting that Emotional intelligence is more applicable in our professional life to solve much bigger problems.

My experience and expertise in reversing adversities will privilege me to provide tools and gear to solve a few problems of high ticket-selling millennials. where I found that emotional intelligence got a much bigger role to play. So I have chosen it as my micro-niche, to enable people to hold back to the social values, we are known for.

Most of the people in this category are from the same socioeconomic background. Their precise career statement is ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR. It stands for one wife, two children, a three-bedroom flat and a four-wheeler. This is a heresy of our social values which needs to be stopped. To measure the tangibility of career fulfilment, I have chosen financial freedom, which is more of a philosophy than an economic one. It will be more holistic.

My formula of
Financial freedom =contribution -remuneration.
It is like a bank account that compounds all accumulated credits.

Academic training & induction are making millennials scavengers. Emotional intelligence will enable them to decide between stimulus and response. Instant gratification has blocked their ability from their genuine aspiration. The feeling that the locus of control is external forces them to be more arrogant.

I wish none of us should face willy Lowman’s fate picturised by Arthur Miller, where one of the brightest sales associates of America’s industrial era succumbed to suicide because of his post-retirement unfulfilled dream and poverty.
